Daily Trust Foundation supports orphanages in Abuja and Kaduna

Daily Trust Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of Media Trust group, owners of Daily Trust, publishers of the Daily Trust, Aminiya, Trust TV and radio, have supported the Abuja Children’s Home and the NASFAT Agency for Zakat and Sadaqat, both situated in Abuja, and the Jam’iyar Matan Arewa (JMA) Premier Orphanage and Malali Orphanage homes situated in Kaduna State, with food and non-food items.

The gesture is to support the orphans, especially as the holy month of Ramadan has begun.

The items, which include rice, sugar, salt, semovita, diapers, beans, vegetable oil, laundry soap, and food condiments, were handed over to the management of the orphanages in Abuja and Kaduna.

Handing over the items to the beneficiaries, Communications Officer, Daily Trust Foundation, Ele Sunday Ifah, conveyed the message of the management, which hoped the items would go a long way in assisting the orphans, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.

Collecting the items, the Office Manager of Malali Orphanage Home, Sa’adu Dabo, and the President, JMA, Hajiya Rabi M. Saulawa, thanked the foundation for the gesture and promised to make judicious use of the items. 

Similarly, Omini Emmanuel, while responding on behalf of the management of Abuja Children’s Home, expressed gratitude to the Daily Trust Foundation for its commitment and support towards the Abuja Children’s Home.
